Meet The Boss

Jacob Reinhart’s journey into the world of guitar pedals started back in 2020 with a used pedal he bought from one of his best friends. Before that, he was perfectly happy plugging straight into his amp and keeping things simple. But once he discovered how much pedals could completely shape and transform a guitar’s sound, he was hooked.

What started as curiosity quickly turned into an obsession. Reinhart spent hours digging through music stores, watching YouTube demos, and learning everything he could about effects, tone, and pedal chains. As he puts it, he became fascinated by the “almost limitless possibilities of sounds you can get from chaining effects together.”

In 2024, things took another step forward when he came across a website selling DIY pedal kits. Even with only limited soldering experience, he decided to give it a shot and ordered two kits. After spending an entire day building them by hand, both pedals powered on successfully—and that moment changed everything.

“I thought to myself that I needed to do this more,” Reinhart says, and from there the rest was history.

Since then, building pedals has become more than just a hobby. It’s become a creative outlet and a passion project, allowing Jacob Reinhart to keep experimenting, learning, and chasing new sounds every step of the way.
